Character Designer Nagano: Sycamore's hairstyle and glasses are his most distinctive features. I can't help it; I have a tendency to slap glasses on just about any scholar or archaeologist character. (laughs) Sycamore was a bit of a special case because I used the glasses as a way to express some of the inner workings of his personality. He is the kind of person who feels like there is something between the things he sees and the world as a whole, almost like a tangible distance.

The last thing the Azran did was build another servant - Aurora. And like Emmy, she had an obligation to fulfill the legacy set out for her. Yet, in the end, the incapability (or unwillingness) to betray that obligation only created the undoing of those who coerced them. Or something."
