Just finished reading Joyspan by Dr Kerry Burnight. It's one of the best books on aging I have read - and I have read a lot of them. Great stories and lots of practical methods to increase your joy. Its worth you time even if you re not in your third chapter! #BookBuzz #booksky

Key point here is that billionaires DON'T need a tax cut. They have too much already.

$700 billion cut to Medicaid
$267 billion cut to food assistance (SNAP)
8.6 million: people will lose Medicaid coverage
$3.8 trillion new debt for the US
$7 trillion in tax cuts that benefits top 1%

If House Republicans formalize their budget cuts this week:
❌1.2 million veterans, 4.8 million seniors, & 14.6 million children could go hungry.
❌ Over 1 million children risk losing access to school breakfasts and lunch.
❌Grocery costs will skyrocket by over $500 per year for 40 million people.

The stories saying that the ERA, although duly ratified by 38 states as required by Article V, won’t become law until some functionary at the National Archives agrees to publish it, have no constitutional basis. I’ll be writing about this soon. Watch this space for a link.
