I totally had to Google the Fresno nightcrawler. Your ornament is absolutely adorable. Seriously.

Aww. That’s a sweet and short story, right there.

Yes!!!!! I just finished a project I started in 2017. I had it hibernating in my stash, found it, and decided to finally finish it. I’m wearing it today and it feels like an accomplishment!!!

Ya, my uncle LOVES my knitted hats. He is very knit worthy. ❤️

Fingering weight. You’re brave. I made a worst weight earlier this week or last week or whatever. I absolutely love this pattern.

I’m really good at looking at a pattern and re-creating it so I’m gonna see if I can make something similar in the next year. I have a lot on my needles right now. Probably the most WIPs I’ve ever had at one time. lol

I think peri-menopause is giving me ADHD 😆

I absolutely love the idea of picking up stitches and adding the collar. I also have had the problem of the dog sweaters riding down. I think it just goes with the direction of their fur which is down and their sweaters always end up around their shoulders really awkwardly. lol

Can I find this on ravelry?

This is absolutely purfect. Oh I don’t want the pattern, and I just wanted to share my appreciation.

Thanks!! I’m a little limited in my colors because they’re all scraps. I decided to use scraps for my gnomes so that I don’t buy more yarn. lol 😝

I’m trying this…. Thank you!!!

Adorable!!! I’m saving that.

My flicking pearls are so neat. My tension from knitting flat tinting in the round is exactly the same.
December 1, 2025 at 5:14 PM
Yes!! I’ve tried continental a couple of times, and the tension is what always gets me. It’s absolutely floppy. When I flick my tension is extremely precise and I’ve been used to that for years.

That would be so helpful !!

Any ideas for a good project for Continental starters?
December 1, 2025 at 4:12 PM
Same!!! I’m a much faster knitter now. Are you taught myself how to flick two yarn strands so I can do color work. I have one strand on my index finger and one strand on my middle finger.

I’d love to learn how to continental when I always think about it mid project and that’s not gonna work.

Flicker here!! 🤚🏼
