I would dearly love the news to no longer name the gunmen in bondi and let ASIO and the police do their investigating with no more focus on these people who perpetrated evil in the media.

I’m not sure I like the world in its current iteration. Well more likely the version of “humanity” we are seeing. I know that it is always a small group but that small group have such a large impact. Putin, Netanyahu, individuals seeding hatred. I guess I have to focus on the good people 😞

Husband having a routine procedure today however feeling a little anxious as the last time we were in a hospital was for his heart (a few years ago now) Distracting myself with Tay Tay and reading about the young queens of Europe in the 1500s.

Second parent teacher night of the year done! Headache and need a quiet cuppa and bed I think. Lovely kids and parents but always so loud with so many interviews happening together. 3 more to go over the year.

Year 12 parent teacher interviews tonight - good focused convos. 1 parent made me cry cause she cried cause her daughter felt so safe in my class. Severe mental struggles so even finishing school is a feat and still managing ext1 maths -this is why I teach, so they love to learn

Mint and toffee! Who would think they work and yet Walkers Mint Toffees are AMAZING!!! Had them in the UK and cried when I came home. Found some in TK Max today and bought three bags - now to just ration them!

Well that’s it I am shattered and it’s only Monday!! Alarm at 5.30am walking from station, full day of teaching and heat. It’s 7.20pm and I am contemplating bed.
