Sometimes, I just gotta catch up on a wonderful book missed when it was new. This week, it's The Post-Birthday World by Lionel Shriver, from 2007. The language, the characters, the plot, the theme - masterful.

Some books tie up all the loose ends - such satisfying #reading.

It's cold outside, it snows, it warms, snow melts, it's slush, it warms, it's mud, and then, it's a very dirty #Westie. The next instalment does not go well.

Zephyr often composes songs with his squeaky toys. The #Westie outdid himself with this tune. Wish I had the video going in time to capture all of it (and my thumb out of the frame).
