You & @democrats.senate.gov have the power to block massive Trump/Miller budget increase that made DHS/ICE/BP Earth’s *third biggest military* using all Senate rules (esp withholding unanimous consent) to weaponize budget deadline and literally save our Republic.

Reminder: DHS legislation that funds ICE at current levels without policy restrictions is in the Senate and needs 60 votes to pass. Deadline is next Friday.

In fact, promoting specific policies in a diverse Democratic Party at this point would serve only to divide at this point. But perhaps that is the motive/goal of Donnie & Joe. Need to bring pro-democratic folks together, perhaps against one common enemy ... at least initially.

Don't think I'd take advice on Democratic strategies to win future elections from Donnie OR Joe. We can issue policy statements later. Claire is right. Respect the outrage. Destroy MAGA. Preserve democracy.. Folks understand. That is where the energy is.
