This is IF you are registering to vote. The act doesn't say anything about your spouse voting for you. But this law is obviously aimed at makig it more difficult to register to vote, thus disenfranchising minorities and the poor of all colors.

Oh, ok. Maybe we should not include hyperbole when discussing our grievances but it did give me a reason to to read the act. We could mention that applying for a passport costs between $30-$130, a "backdoor poll tax", a phrase I credit to U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings.

I read H.R. 8281 -SAVE act and don't see anything that mentions a spouse voting for a wife. Can you help me the Section number that includes that text. Thanks.
