Probably a good idea. I tend to feel that I have to finish one before I start another. Maybe I just need to give myself permission to let it go and see if the wind returns.

I use a random overlapping stitch that’s like long/short stitch but turned every which way! You can layer colors and create visual blending that’s loads of fun.

“Spring Plum” is 4” wide, stitched on two layers of white cotton cloth, painted with Mijello Mission Gold watercolors, and stitched using single strand DMC thread with mostly two-wrap French knots throughout.
