Why the shift in release day? We’re lining this up with the release dates for @debugmag.com to save international readers on shipping costs.

Thank you for the understanding. We thought the demand might be ~500 copies, but a couple of LinkedIn influencers and industry newsletters had other ideas!

What’s happening going forward?

Debug++ 25.10 is out on 1st October, and we have a better understanding of the numbers this time! 😅

Debug++ 25.11 will then release on 1st November, and our release schedule will continue on a regular monthly basis

Automatic renewals are on pause until 1st November

What’s happening with Debug++?

Honestly? We thought we were prepared for whatever would happen…

It’s a good problem to have, but demand *significantly* outstripped supply. Several reprints later, and 25.07 is in most of your hands, with the last batch leaving our offices earlier this week!

I really should crack on with the next ish of @debug.plus, which means I need to find another victim/subject for this soon-to-be series.

So, if you're an #indiedev that sees themselves more on the left of this pic, who might be the person on the right that you'd like to quiz?

Q. How is Debug++ free?

A. We’ve worked hard to produce Debug++ such that production costs are minimal, whilst ensuring that Debug staff and contributors are paid fairly for their work.

This is achieved via careful planning, templated page design, and via a small number of ads: ~10% of total pages

An indie-focused print magazine also available as a free PDF? Where have I heard that before... 👀

Congrats to the Debug folks. This looks awesome!

Q. Where will I be able to read previous issues? Is there an archive somewhere?

A. Debug++ subscribers can download every issue for free within their Debug account. Unfortunately, physical back-issues will not generally be available.

Q. Will there be any import duties or taxes to pay upon delivery?

A. Deliveries to EU countries will be shipped using the IOSS system to ensure no additional fees or taxes are payable.

Other countries may impose import fees, and this is beyond our control. Value will always be declared as £0

Q. How big is Debug++?

A. Debug++ will always be a minimum of 32 pages. The size is A4, with an approximate weight of 225 grams to keep delivery costs to a minimum.

The mag I've been working on, @debug.plus, is out. It's free, full of #indiedev insight, and I think quite good. Check it out so I can do another one.
