The CDU is and was by not center-left. Before 2014 (AfD), it was the consevative center right, with the Bavarian CSU at the far right and the neo-liberal FDP perhaps at the center. The SPD was center-left, and Die Gruenen/AL left, with Die Linke now at the far left. Merkel lowered the top tax rate.

I never said she was Reagan. Reagan's presidency ended in January 1989, before the fall of the Wall. I said she's a German version of a Reagan Republican, meaning today.

She didn't fall head first. She's actually very intelligent (Phd in Physics). But she grew up in former communist East Germany and was a sidekick of conservative Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who dismembered social systems for tax cuts for the wealthy. She's the German version of a Reagan Republican.

-It's still Biden's fault
-It's the EPA's fault
-China doesn't allow market access
-Too much red tape from the Obama Administration
-Conspiracy between China, EU, and Canada against the US
-Trump tried to do the right thing. It just hasn't played out yet.

It's going to get worse. The files will eventually get leaked. Then, they can't deny anymore that they are protecting child rapists. But they won't be ashamed. They will do what they always do: double down and simply normalize pedophilia. The first signs are already visible (listen to Ted Cruz).

America first means: We are shutting the government down because Republicans want to take away Obamacare from Americans, which will cause an extreme spike in health insurance.

But we are bailing Argentina (which has public health care) out with $20 billion.

I sometimes need to shut everything off to keep my sanity. It's like being trapped in a bad dream. The Veda's idea that everything is relative reality, not independently real, used to scare me. Now, it brings me comfort.

After the US bailed out Argentina with $20 billion, they axed export tariffs on soybeans, selling discounted beans to China, which would normally buy them from us. Meanwhile, US farmers have no buyers for their crops. Our own government is sabotaging our economy.
