Finally acknowledgement from Braun that Indiana is seeing bird flu spreading. I'm sure they're going to take that seriously at least. What's that? He's saying there's nothing to worry about but "please don't touch dead chickens"? We can get 30 EOs in two weeks, but this - nah, no cause for alarm.

Just thinking of how Braun is forcing everyone back to office in this crap weather so taxpayers can pay for $2-3 mil leases per building for buds that donated to him or PAC, like Golars who for a cheap $35k donation from their founder helps ensure their $3.1 mil lease gets renewed! Ethics smethics

5 of Braun's 17 official press releases are him gaslighting his voters that he cares about their property taxes, when Repubs have been the ones increasing them for years and years. What's the definition of insanity again?

EO-25-30 Braun says it's okay for the underpaid guys driving explosive gas across Indiana's potholes to work unsafe & extended hours b/c Trump's tariffs increased Hoosier propane prices. Someone hasn't seen Final Destination. Safety regs are written in blood. #HoosierSky

Extreme anti-democracy lawmakers aren't even trying to hide it - they're coming for our voting rights RIGHT NOW. On Mon. morning, the Sen Elections Ctte will hear SBs 201, 284, & 287, which unduly burden voters & restrict voting options. That afternoon, SB 10 heads to the Senate floor for its vote.

Braun cheered federal spending pauses and starving Indiana so we can “do more with less” while his new, frivolous cabinet costs over $2.2 mil yearly salary for 8 people, not including their staff. $275k, more than any exec civil job grade in IN & more than double allowable entry salary. #HoosierSky

I mean really how much could putting the ten commandments in schools cost for HB1231? What's that you say, up to $11 million from school budgets before considering legal battles? Holy moly, that's 9,777 school years' worth of morning frappucinos?! Party of fiscal responsibility my butt #HoosierSky

Since when is governor a subcontractable job classification? Braun further abdicates role as governor to Heritage Foundation and Project 2025, directly enshrining their fascist propaganda into Executive Orders. e.g., EO-25-29 police and vendors have unfunded mandate to function as ICE. #HoosierSky

Story brewing on OPM memos being wrote by Project 2025 author, Heritage Foundation, and other con lobbyists not OPM staff per PDF metadata, among other dire warnings by whistleblower. IN's own EOs copy same lobbyist talking points, so if you think it's not happening here, I have a farm to sell you.
What is happening inside the Office of Personnel Management?

Do you have a bad idea for a state bill that will clearly cost IN taxpayers and hurt vulnerable Hoosiers but will give good media sound bites for attention? JD Prescott is your guy for authoring or co-authoring! Bonus points if he can plagiarize the wording from another state’s bill. #HoosierSky

Let's take a peek into the Governor’s Newsroom. Before looking at new bills, we can start with Executive Orders, which might take awhile because of my short attention span, and this guy issued way more orders than the previous governors. Giving “Quick look busy!” vibes. www.in.gov/gov/newsroom/

EO-25-28 Braun continues his servitude to Heritage Foundation talking points by pushing for split risk health insurance pools, where sick people pay more for health insurance but healthy people *might* pay less (until they get sick), because, really, it's your fault you got cancer I guess?

EO-25-27 Sure, Governor Braun ordered less administrative rules in EO-25-17, but this is different. This is important. It's vital to now order new regulations to attack cost-saving prescription programs for veterans, poor, and indigent because rich folks like the Heritage Foundation asked him to.

EO-25-26 Governor Braun urges agencies to share data to help with things like EO-25-25 and EO-25-13. This EO literally does nothing more than an email in Outlook would have done. Is Governor Braun still waiting for his active directory ID? I hear that's pretty common for state new hires.

EO-25-25 Similar to EO-25-13, Governor Braun demands colorful pie charts to explain complicated policy to him and his cabinet. This time from health and family services. If your agency can't do that, it's fine you can just pay a vendor to do it!

EO-25-24 Braun attacks wasteful spending spending on healthcare by ordering FSSA and SPD to pay an expensive independent vendor to audit spending and to implement PBM practices he himself just implied were harmful in EO-25-23, but it’s fine because this just hurts state employees and poor people.
