Last Saturday I had the huge honour of leading The Gibside Singers at their first concert since my appointment as their new MD. This fantastic group of ladies have worked very hard over the past few months and the results were incredible! Very proud of all of them!

Fantastic night at Bonner's Newcastle last week for their event with the insanely good Joe Webb, absolutely outrageously talented player in a showroom that continues to impress every time I go there! I believe Joe and I may have the same hairdresser too! 🤣

In between a hundred and one different gigs, I got to watch the great Jean-Efflam Bavouzet perform Ravel yesterday at The Sage. I have been lucky enough to meet Maestro Bavouzet on multiple occasions, and was even pretty for many of his Chandos recordings. A simply transcendent pianist.
