Sixty-one files and eight directories, not including caches and stuff installed by pip and npm. Extensions include none, .awk, .c, .cc, .css, .db, .diff, .h, .js, .json, .m, .out, .pdf, .pgn, .plist, .png, .py, .txt, .xml. Keeping it all for now but promise to whittle it down. 🤪

It wouldn't surprise me if human writers who've used em dashes for years — myself included — are adjusting their writing style as a defense mechanism because of the AI-induced em dash chill. I used a semicolon recently while rewording a sentence to eliminate a perfectly good em dash. 😐

Feeling weird is reasonable; opting out is also reasonable. Perhaps consider your relative comfort levels with: (a) feeling low-grade weird until you can have an outdoor lunch again, vs. (b) a ~0.5% chance (per similar indoor event) of a significant/costly illness of unknown duration. I like (a).
