Feels a little incomplete without mentioning that the person who awarded the HLS contract to SpaceX in April 2021, not uncontroversial at the time, left NASA to work at SpaceX, on Spaceship, in April 2023.

Unfortunately, the Gripen is also quite dependent on the US, considering it uses a General Electric engine.
