IMO, the mistake was Biden should have made it clear that he was a one term president and the Democrats should have been grooming a successor for four years. I’m not sure Biden could have beaten Trump a second time.

You are absolutely right, and there are 10’s of millions of us Americans who agree with you. I worked hard to register voters last year. I believed that if we got enough voters to the polls, Harris could win. I was wrong and now we are living with the consequences.
