Selling is not about being pushy. It is about telling a story your audience’s brain is wired to pay attention to- because it solves a problem, takes away pain, or creates a benefit. Selling = helping.

"In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity" -Sun Tzu. Startup chaos = market or operational gaps. Data cuts through chaos. Opportunity is found in analysing data. Solve for the limiting factors as quickly as possible.
