And I say this as a citizen of the world. I grew up in America. I moved to France when I was 27 and I am a proud French citizen today. I continue to be a proud American citizen. There is no perfect world. It is what we make. I feel like a citizen of this planet. We all deserve better.

I am truly terrified by the idea that they can not retrieve these people because they are literally no longer retrievable. I am absolutely devastated by the idea of sending these people to almost certain death.

Sadly, it makes a lot of sense. And all this speculation about tariffs, doge, tax cuts etc seems like a distraction. I don’t live there anymore, left almost 30 years ago but I’m absolutely heartbroken, just gutted by what is happening.

That’s kind of the point. Nobody wants to go to a foreign country and be undocumented unless they are facing a worse situation in their country of origin.

Furthermore, your argument sounds fake. You can actually go to Norway and live there without documentation. You will not be deported unless you commit a real crime. But you don’t actually know this so I don’t think you are genuine.
