you post a link or a bad word, deboosted for weeks, lose exposure and income

meanwhile here I can literally see the conversion rate for itch clicks FROM MY HEADER LINK being higher than any link that was on twitter before

My methodology is that hitbox describes all collision bounding boxes, and if you want to describe something as the thing that can cause damage via collision, just call it a damaging hitbox.

VsCodeium is basically making VsCode and compiling directly from source, so not including any of whatever microsoft adds in their builds (likey tracking stuff). Its really not worth the hassle IMO. Just use code. Extensions work fine.
99% of extensions that have more than 10k installs will be safe.

Louis Rossman (A right to repair advocate) made a video telling people to make CLippy their PFP. The exact details of WHY escape me as Ive not watched it, but I believe this is the video

(Splitting up Kie is hard due to the integer log scale. Were more accurate data available, I think you could break it into "number of full time employees" which would allow decimals and more interesting data at ~1 as you could have someone working half time tracked etc.)

Is there any chance we can get an RSS feed of the status page? It would be great to be able to track the status using teh same thing I use to follow my comics.

There are some where it makes sense, like those centered around creativity & collaboration. MMB Alex (a lego master builder) is one that I think it smart to have it on, as much as I dislike it cluttering my feed. A few programming channels I follow it makes sense in as well. Tho Id rather a discord.

also, the fact that I, as a viewer, cant disable them from spamming my feed on mobile? Ive come close to unsubscribing from several channels due to them having communities on. They are just... annoying.

I'm curious, what is your source for that? I want to dig into that a little bit, but am not finding anything.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_Od... is the stream I know. Vixen streams a lot of their shenanigans. They did a charity thing where they played a fast food simulator, and it was chaotic and amazing and Vixen streamed that too.

She also streams them reading the (non-cannon) visual novel. Its a riot.

Quite, and I hate to BE so discouraging, but I believe having the information to, and appropriately planning for the realistic outcome is more Important than blind faith.

You are smart and talented, and will be able to get through this.

Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. I don't see amazon recognizing that situation and the way they need to recover. The economic times are not such where amazon can afford to invest in twitch (or 100 other compaines like it) again like that RN.Twitch is stuck trying to make profit on its own.

The only way to recover from a spiral/spin/stall when flying is to (counterintuitively) push down into it as they are caused by pulling up to hard. Twitch tried to extract too much money from the platform, stalled their growth, and is now spiraling. They need to stop the enshitifying to recover.

Twitch viewer numbers have crashed HARD. Its been on the decline for years, but this year specifically its gone down nearly 25% since the beginning of the year.

Twitch is getting impacted by the economic situation, and was spiraling already. Its... not good.
