Alan Reed was originally cast as the voice of Filmore Bear in the pilot for Hoppity Hooper, a follow-up to Rocky And Bullwinkle. The soundtrack was recorded in 1960, and by the time Hoppity sold, Reed was committed to The Flintstones at Hanna-Barbera. Bill Scott replaced him in the series.
