So my client, Mister Theo, decided to get himself skunked at 4:30am and was sequestered outside until his parents came home, cause I sure wasn't going to go anywhere near him with water. Been there, smelled someone else do that. Sometimes you can learn from the mistakes of others, too.

I'm sitting with these little goofy goobers for the next three days, I haven't seen them in over a year and it's like I was never gone. The ckc cocker mix is Scooby and the golden doodle is Bugsy and they are so fun! It's all cuddles and kisses all day!

Trust. Masking to fit in and be a normal, productive member of society almost killed me. Now instead of pretending I'm normal (spoiler alert-nobody buys it) I embrace my quirks and focus on accommodating my challenges on my own, and I'm much better and happier for it. But the initial shock was wild!

Trust. Masking to fit in and be a normal, productive member of society almost killed me. It's been a week since Tex retired. It was a hard week, as expected. Not just for the humans but the remaining dogs as well. Especially DaisyLue. She'll be 12 soon, and Tex was a part of her life since she was 7 months old. We'll pull through, though. We have to.
