It's also part of the no snitching fallacy. Street rules: 1. you don't snitch in order to take a plea for yourself and incriminate others 2. you don't snitch out of fear of retaliation 3. you don't snitch because the streets will take care of it, not law enforcement.

If only these event organizers took into account the student demographics represented at their conferences. Who can call them on it though? How can anyone offer feedback or suggestion if the critique can simply be dismissed as a "DEI agenda"?

I attend too many edu conferences that I literally walk around counting the Black people I see over a multi-day event. The last one I attended I counted 9 over two days. There were a couple thousand people total.
