Even if you don't have Ridwell in your neighborhood, you can get a kit for $10 (including postage both ways) to recycle this stuff by mail. Try it!

I still want health care preserved in any deal that's made.

A few years ago, I switched from donating blood to donating platelets, which is done by cycling blood through an apheresis machine, where the platelets are separated and accumulated, and the remainder of the blood products are returned into the body. Today I got my "25 donations" coin.

Today, I choose to celebrate the people who were here in the land I call "home" for thousands and thousands of years before I was born here. And I honor one of my BFFs from our childhood, a Native American who was my foster sister for five months.

Don't get me wrong. Everything about this adminUHstration pisses me off. To add to the misery, NASA shuts down just as an interstellar object passes Mars, where our nearest telescopes to the action are located. So, nothing...

Although I took over 40 photos during a down-and-up 3 mile hike in Bryce Canyon today, I won't bore you with all of them. What do YOU see in this? And, an astrophoto I took last night of the Dumbbell Nebula.

I spent this morning planting seedlings where the Stone Canyon fire burned last summer. The smaller plant is one seedling, the larger plant is something else. The residents have a beautiful view, even though this wasn't the best vantage point. Saw lots of deer.
