It would be nice to think any of this mattered but I'm afraid it doesn't. The Reform voters don't care. I don't know what would ever put them off but I'm sure it's not this.

All the time there has been a shining example of how to bat successfully in test cricket right there in the team (Root, of course).

I know there aren't a dozen more of him in country cricket just waiting to be picked but he's right there, showing them the way and they don't seem to take the lesson.
