Abolish and prosecute.

Red herring. No amount of “training” will make ICE better. They’re not being deployed for anything that requires legitimate training. They are being deployed as an ultra-partisan secret police/paramilitary strike force against everyone who doesn’t kneel to the administration.

“Accountable” is a meaningless, empty cliche, at this point.
PROSECUTE. That’s the word. Don’t be scared to say it.

Whether OK or PB, or other thugs, the masks are there to make them untraceable, unaccountable, and above the law for all of the Constitutional violations, violence, and murder they commit.
January 28, 2026 at 9:26 PM
Yeah, but he and Dem leadership are now poised to give Trump the softest ICE deal in the budget negotiations.
Even putting aside abolish and prosecute, my preference, it seems they’re not even demanding a prohibition on masks.
Perpetual weakness and loser mentality.
January 27, 2026 at 7:26 PM
Loser talk. It’s also a fundamental misunderstanding of what ICE now is. It is T’s personal, unaccountable secret police/paramilitary strike force. It exists to commit violence against whomever the President directs. That’s it. To think a few regulations will make it better is a category error.

The problem will be the ongoing massive abuse of the pardon power (not to mention the Roberts immunity for the president).
That needs to be challenged and downgraded (preferably when he pardoned all the J6, but now would be better than never).
January 27, 2026 at 2:06 PM
Fuck off. If anyone is helping the other side, it’s you for letting Dems slide on weakness. House Dems just voted for more ICE funding. Schumer wasn’t even taking a stand on the matter until the Pretti execution. And he’s still being a wuss about it. Abolish and prosecute. That’s what I want.
January 26, 2026 at 5:23 PM
Get off your horse. I expend my energies in many ways. It’s not for you to police them. That’s not impressive, either.
We’re in the fight for our & our country’s lives. It’s not too much to ask that our elected leaders rise to the challenge. The citizens of MN have shown us it’s possible.

They need to internalize that MAGA long ago declared war on them/us. No negotiating. No bipartisanship. Only opposition. No votes for MAGA cabinet. McConnell-style obstruction at every turn. Lawsuits. Shadow cabinet flooding the zone daily from mult angles on mult media.
I liked this:

I will do that in 2028 and I will continue to express my frustration with his perpetual weakness, inaction, and lack of resolve now and on an ongoing basis.
January 26, 2026 at 4:16 PM
Yes
January 26, 2026 at 4:05 PM
I call it like I see it. I am resolutely on the side of freedom, the rule of law, and the Constitution. If those things are going to endure, we need more than Dem leadership has provided. We need what MN is providing. Schumer might be good enough for you; he’s not for me and he’s not for this time.
January 26, 2026 at 4:03 PM
Repubs have less motivation to do anything if Dem opposition is consistently weak.
January 26, 2026 at 3:56 PM
Abolish and prosecute.

Abolish and prosecute.

Why all the bending over backwards to deny what the rest of your piece is clearly pointing to?
