Well, I think I finally managed to buy a TV that is too large for the room it's in. 77" at 7.7 feet. It's great for cinematic stuff, but it's obvious I'm going to suck playing stuff that requires full awereness of the screen. Should have listened to @alcoholikaust.bsky.social from 4 years ago.

I was able to get DLSS and Framegen back by adding these lines to my Engine.ini and doing the DLSS configuration via Nvidia Profile Inspector. Weekend saved!

I've been really going hard on boycotting US stuff, and have created what the stable orange genius would call a personal trade surplus
with the US.
And since I've always valued high FPS over principles, I decided to even it out and buy a 5090.

Just completed Sonic Frontiers. Not really a fan of Sonic games, but just couldn't put this one down. Some rough edges, but the gameplay was pure joy. Hoping for a second entry!
