Here's my thread of 2025 games made with Black leadership you should check out.

I'm not an advocate of supporting things just because X group made them - I share genuinely unique games that have something special about them that I think are worth checking out.

I just focus on #blackgamedev

Having said all that, I think what’s really exciting is what you can actually do with this format...I’ll talk more about that in an upcoming post!

How the glyphs are arranged matters. The trunk slot always represents the game’s main activity (i.e. the thing players will spend the most time doing), the root represents the overall structure of the game, and the branches represent additional mechanics, flavors, or style

The glyphs are designed to be more user friendly, and we’ll work with developers to make sure they always fit what's in the game

I’m using quotes because the idea is to move away from using genre to explain what a game is. It’s not quite specific enough to help people make a decision. On the other hand, tags are often too specific, and, if we’re honest, usually not very accurate either.

Here’s how it works.  Each of those golden orbs is a slot that can display a glyph that represents a particular feature or aspect of a game.  For example, if we place the Twisted Castle on the trunk, you'd have a game with progression based on exploration—i.e. a “metroidvania”
