One of our cats taps my husband on the head to wake him up for food...no yodelling, just pure physical interaction.

Yep he's a British short-hair. Beautiful cat in looks and personality but was an injured stray in our garden. No chip and no owner to be found. So we fostered him until a charity found a home for him. He was the first of 15 foster cats to date!

My parents made a little event out of voting. They'd go to vote together, although not necessarily for the same party. Then they would go for a wee drink to mark the occasion. When old enough to vote we'd join them. I grew up feeling that voting was a duty and a privilege.

I'm originally from Cavan, where there are no trains. There are plans afoot to reconnect the northern counties to a train infrastructure. I'm not hopeful on the lead time!
