Changed writing groups. Now with New Chapter. We had a little competition, ten entries from great writers. Tonight my night was made, because I came first. Thank you, to all who helped me.

Three writing competitions entered in the last few weeks. Words came like a river of water and flowed out of me.

Got highly commended in a recent local 500 flash fiction competition I entered. Feeling over the moon.

Whiting the world go to shite and feeling powerless to do anything about it.

Found out I didn’t place in the Elmbridge literally competition. Never mind. I will keep writing. All learning processes.

That moment when you hear a random line from someone else and you know that’s an opening line to a new story. Priceless.

My entry for the 20th Elmbridge Literary competition entitled Running River has now been submitted. First One I have entered in years. Also paid for feed back. Watch this space.

My competition entry is finally completed. I just have to edit and get down to 1500 words. Deadline Friday.

300 words written today. Not a lot in the scheme of things but better than nothing. Working on the end section of my short story competition entry.

Beginning to look a lot like writing. Starting to take writing seriously again.
