what is the point of this
Their LB Mykolenko is their hold the shape interceptor who very rarely tackles so a direct winger like Estevao is perfect in the 2nd half. I prefer Neto initially, because I trust him to track back when Mykolenko makes the overlapping runs, he is tasked to do.

To explain the wing pairing - their RB O'Brien is their aggressive tackler stay-back RB which is perfect for Garna's skillset. He doesn't have to track back as much, while also baiting challenges to get a foul or to make runs in-behind (needs a LHS player to combine ideally)

He usually has good man management, but whenever players get tired and there are many games, he starts fucking up and making strange decisions.

I'm gonna treat all december/january games like we're losing, there's no point in believing we can do something

by non-aggressive I mean they keep their shape and force teams wide with their compact block. Even out wide they usually double-up or shift the whole block instead of attempting the tackles

Well I think Caicedo covers more space than any footballer I've watched since Kante. We very rarely get physically dominated with Caicedo on the pitch, so I think he would've helped to mask other players' off the ball issues (like Enzo).

Bournemouth press high, they don't play a low block. We are struggling against any physical team without Caicedo.

Cucurella will literally collapse if we keep giving him 90s, James and Fofana need to be looked after or our season is lowkey over. Thats 3/4 of our backline. Guys like Santos, Badiashile, Hato, Gittens need to step up or we have to sacrifice some competition.

We're playing our U21s + Caicedo against Atalanta I guess 😭😭

It would be very boring if everyone had same opinions lol

That was actually one of my favourite quotes. He was 100% right, Disasi/Sterling are not victims. Overall I think you're being too nitpicky. The big picture is we're on the good trajectory since he took over, despite his inexperience and not ideal recruitment. Can't expect him to be perfect.

I understand how this might be annoying to someone, but personally I don't care if he admits publicly after every loss that its his fault or not. What's important to me is that he learns from his mistakes and makes changes, instead of being like Amorim or Frank (and I think he does).

What I'm saying is Neto couldn't start again and we had no other natural RW. Wes and Reece need rest, even Cucu actually. This just shows that our overall squad isn't good enough. I'm very frustrated too, but it was clear we weren't challenging so let's just get T4 and focus on the UCL and cups.

We play every 3 days, we HAVE TO rotate the squad. I do agree Acheampong should play more, I'm disappointed he doesn't get enough chances, but any other player will play more if they actually perform and show fight. Right now they clearly don't deserve it.

EM has changed the way we play constantly throughout 2 seasons he is here, based on players we have available. Playing with narrow wingers, 3-2 build-up, 2-3 build-up with FBs tucking in midfield and so much more. He will not get it right everytime, but he deserves much more respect for his work.

I'm not inside the changing room to judge his leadership skills, but he seems to be vocal on the pitch which I like. Maresca is the 2nd most tactically fluid manager in the whole league after Guardiola. I'm genuinely shocked how critical CFC fans are towards a manager who literally fixed us.
