My most hottest of hot takes: the older you are the less your vote matters. I’m tired of living through the results of 70-90 year olds’ choices when they will die before they experience the consequences. I could be convinced to cheapen the vote of the super young because of lack of education too.

One of the best parts of being an English teacher is when you have to talk about a romantic relationship between characters and the kids get sooooo awkward about it. I revel in their discomfort. As a student, it was the worst. As a teacher, it is my joy.

One of my favorite parts of having a developed brain is that I’m not scared of and actually looking forward to hearing my family complain about the economy and getting to say “Well that’s what happens when you vote for a fascist” and then watch them explode in their useless excuses.

My severance theory: there has to be something that the severed workers can do that they can’t do unsevered. Otherwise, why would they ever allow Helena to become a worker? It wouldn’t be worth the PR considering her safety was at risk

Just want to mention that DEI does not mean a candidate isn’t qualified. It means the company wants everyone to feel comfortable, safe, and accepted at work. It’s sucks that people seem to believe that there isn’t enough equity to go around

There are lots of benefits to having a partner:
1. Double income
2. Someone else to do the chores you hate
3. Extra cuddles
However, as a night owl, I’d like to watch some videos…and how can I do that when said partner is snoozing 😔
