The sheer number of flowers on this cherry tree is impressive.

They are so dense that if you scrunch your eyes up a bit you could believe you are looking at a tree fruiting popcorn. Just me? Awkward.

Getting quite late for camellias but this one hung on. A late bloomer. Also the most photographed flower along the path. Unlike its brethren which had been cursed with "the tinge".
