At nearly 50, I've got no idea how Gary Numan has more or less passed me by. I wasn't super into his stuff when I was younger, I know that. But the updated vibe he has, included new versions of his older songs, is *amazing*. The guy can seriously rock. I'm now slightly obsessed. #GaryNuman

This popped up in my photo app memories. What a wonderful evening it was too. I've loved Clannad for so many years, and the universe had conspired twice to prevent me seeing concerts I had booked. Finally, I got to see them in their final gig at the Royal Albert Hall. A dream come true.

The view from Wyloer Hill, a steep climb from the Gilfach Nature Reserve. Worth the climb, but I could have done with my hiking poles; I really must stop spontaneous hiking when my poles are at home!

We went to Llansteffan at Easter, just trying to find somewhere that wouldn't be overrun. What a gem! I shouldn't be telling everyone how lovely the place is, it will get packed.
