Have been indoctrinating my children into moral behaviour by showing them lots of Leverage and explaining why we side with Robin Hood and his ilk over the billionaires.

It's not the superpowers, or the costumes. The thing that makes them superheroes is the tendency to run into danger rather than away from it, and the assumption that every problem is something they should be helping with.
