I’m just saying the play calling wasn’t the problem. I assume that’s what people are talking about when they blame the coach. Maybe I shouldn’t assume, but that’s the go-to excuse (and sometimes correctly so, just not tonight imo).

MLF is not blameless, but if the team executes, we’re not talking about this.

4 big things stand out to me: 1) illegal formation keeping us out of fg range 2) Melton drops a ball that hits him in the chest to put us in fg range 3) Jacob’s turns the wrong way killing what would have been a HUGE play, possibly a TD 4) Wicks drop near the end. None of which are MLF fault.

Sure. Not saying he’s perfect by any stretch. But that’s a tough decision: proven veteran, but gimpy. Or unproven young guy with 2 good weeks? They see these guys at practice. We don’t. 🤷‍♂️

Clearly we need more jet sweeps and bubble screens.

You'd think his base would see that eventually, but nope. Blinders are on 24/7.
