The fact that every apartment I've had to pay a "move-in fee" for I've also had to deep clean and document damage on the first day is ridiculous. These same spots also have a vigorous move-out cleaning list which I know is the only cleaning. I *always* got my security deposits back in previous apts.
Chicago landlords are charging hundreds in move-in fees. Renters want to know why. buff.ly/osI803x
