80% of the military jobs are non combat. And of that 20% that are combat jobs(this includes logistics and stuff like that) and only a small fraction of that actually engages in combat. This is what I mean when I say ignorant. Peope just assume everyone is active duty in a combat role.

Want to kill people or make the world a worse place. To then harass those people is discriminatory. I wish the militaries only purposes was humanitarian aid detterent against conflict and to continue to facilitate technological growth. But that's in a world of sunshines and rainbows.

Growing up would be having the critical thinking ability to blame the right people. The politicians are the ones who send people war. Some random service members don't order missile and drone strikes on other countries.

That's fantastic. I didn't say anything about the OP. I'm defending goldshell and other friends I know who went into the military. It's just this notion that veteran means murderer is ignorant. There's many jobs in the military that have nothing to do with killing or blowing people up.

This is pretty privileged and entitled. Lots of people I know join the military so they could afford to go to college. To shame someone for joining the military when you don't even know why they joined is ridiculous.

I haven't explored being the bad guy too much in the main story. Can it affect or change the story?
