Depends. Lineart is my least favorite part of drawing so I usually wing it, though if I'm practicing Lineart specifically, I like to have tighter roughs.

I imagine it's all the small individual joints in the fingers plus the unique folds on your palm. Harder to break down into simple shapes, or atleast that's how I see it
