At the end of chapter 4, an entity that is almost certainly Gaster says "HOW MUCH LONGER NOW...? MY DELTARUNE.". Since chapter 1 released almost 7 years ago, this implies that Gaster's accident gave him dementia. #deltarune

In chapters 3 and 4, the route previously named "weird route" internally is renamed to "sideb". This is a reference to the B-Side levels from Celeste, since both are fucking torture. #deltarune

Dess belongs to a rich family, dark worlds are continually compared to water, and Carol is abusing her mayoral power to find Dess. This is a reference to the Titan submarine disaster, where a disproportionate amount of resources were spent attempting to save the lives of rich people. #deltarune

When considering the PLUEY minigame's description, the lyrics of Raise Up Your Bat, and the connections between dark fountains and water, The Roaring is likely an allusion to Noah's ark. This implies that we will break the prophecy, since Noah's ark didn't fucking happen. #deltarune

In the battle against the Roaring Knight in Chapter 3, Kris has an ACT called "HoldBreath", and there are various references to feeling lightheaded in the text. This is because Kris is trying to intentionally asphyxiate themselves so we cannot win. #deltarune

There exists an unused portiat for Noelle in the files of chapter 4 named "spr_noelleweird_sideb". This must have been planned for the weird route, as "sideb" is it's new internal name as of chapter 3 + 4. Perhaps it may be planned for future chapters? #deltarune
