True, but there are 2 purposes for The Reds wanting to get rid of it. 1)Employers match what employees pay into both Social Security and Medicare. It is a deregulation strategy that benefits the wealthy by saving them $. 2)Raid those funds to pay for tax breaks for the wealthy. = Upward wealth shift
