The US is seen as unstable internationally. UK citizens have been advised not to go there, I don’t recall that ever happening before. Having seen what has happened to Mush, convincing business to invest may be challenging.

So this is from US today, Putin altered the constitution to allow him to have additional terms as president. Russia may have a time when they register a vote but what are the consequences of not voting for Putin? It’s hardly democratic is it? Was it necessary to be insulting?

And should Walmart “eat” the cost how would that affect their ability to grow and employ people? Investment in the US is declining, which is a smart move. The instability that the president brings is no foundation for economic growth.

Does that help? The UK is not doing better than the Eurozone compared to pre pandemic levels. It probably isn’t just Brexit, there is Conservative Government and incompetent leadership.
