This should an important "deprogramming" moment for a lot of people. Cause historically, a lot of gangs are born out of a need to protect marginalized communities who's governments fail(or outright refuse) to defend.

I watched a bunch of Haitani SF4 Makoto highlights while I was sick in bed yesterday...

Oh hey! A few months back, one of my oldest friends got into a pretty bad car accident and had to get hip/leg surgery. Unfortunately, looks like he has to go back under again and start the recovery process all over again.

It might be an experience thing, but there were tons of liberals/centrists like this on twitter too. I think everyone migrating to bluesky, just meant these types got a lot more centralized then they used to be.

Honestly there are so many things you can attribute to real-life entities, I don't know how it's possible to not atleast make ANY connections to irl politics, unless you have like zero irl knowledge.

Nah, they do in fact hold some of that responsibility. This was not a sudden power shift. It was a plot decades in the making and they often times played into it because it benefited them.

We are adults. Critiquing this one aspect is not taking focus from anything.
