Something you don't see every day: the ASCII stick L5 for FAMICOM meant for RPG games so you could take notes while playing. A and B buttons are at the back.
Works great for RPGs but not really for anything else. The controller is also understandably a bit too small for adult hands (even mine).

Trying to beat Big Red Racing on MS-DOS: twitch.tv/retrodemiurgi
The NES MAX pad is great but the original disc D-pad thing isn't exactly ideal. Luckily it can be easily modified with an XBox 360 thumbstick giving you more precision and leverage.

The NES MAX pad is great but the original disc D-pad thing isn't exactly ideal. Luckily it can be easily modified with an XBox 360 thumbstick giving you more precision and leverage.

Some comparisons with the two different versions of Terminator 2: Judgement Day for the Amiga. The original release has a simpler drawn T-800 face in the second puzzle. After you complete the puzzle the other eye blinks and the robot eye flashes red.
