I'm a couple of chapters into this 1980 book by Walter Tavis: "Mockingbird", but in the Italian title is "The mime alone sings at the edge of the wood".
I'm really impressed si far by the dystopian society described here!

The Songs of Distant Earth by #MikeOldfield was released 31 years ago today. One of the Oldfield albums that I listened to more. #ScienceFiction is such a great inspiration. Here's the #CD with the fantastic #book by A.C. Clarke that inspired the music.

Thas #synth is giving me great satisfaction. The hybrid engine has a very distinctive sound and the digital wavetables or FM widen the #sounddesign options. 5 syncable LFOs +5 loopable EGs, 3|6 voices paraphonic, and the grid is fantastic.

Here are a few pictures taken this summer in Nimes, France. A beautiful city with fantastic Roman monuments and a lot of live music on the streets. The patisseries were awesome too. In Eglise Saint Paul I was able to attend a pipe organ concert.

Aurelhe (Asylum F1529) is out on #BandCamp. Composed after visiting the #asylum in #Provence where #VanGogh lived for a year and painted 150 works. It's incredible how so much light can emerge from such a #dark place
