Fandom's general prioritization in search engines and their unwillingness to delete wiki's who've moved doesn't help matters.

As someone who's been working on setting up a non-Fandom Sonic wiki for the past couple of months, I echo all of the sentiments shared in this post.

It sucks that Fandom is the most visible/popular wiki farm since there are far better hosting services out there that offer far greater autonomy...
