Does this mean Nuclear is still
On the menu, whacky Uncle Ted has been promoted. This is going to be interesting as they won’t be a threat to Labor and Skynews will also hate them (soft). LNP on a hiding to
Nowhere.

At face value this is gibberish, but is the subtext selling the possibility of "amazonization" into more sectors of the workforce (endless monitoring and metrics) e.g. into the corporate sector?

Thank you, for that.

Looks like someone merged a Landrover Discovery with the original Ghostbusters wagon

Most FTA tv has been unwatchable for a quite a few years, news is not news and reality tv is terminal. Pulling gambling may be beneficial.

Dutton has nothing to offer.

It's amazing how the same old tricks can be dusted off to fool the same audiences year after year. Labor has been dishonest in it's approach to climate change and renewals, so it doesn't surprise me they would lose votes. Hopefully their votes mostly end up with the teals & greens.

Wow, yes he he manages to hold the rap together, and still touch on a lot of good points, that others would struggle to make even in a newspaper or magazine article.

The promise: take all your fave superheroes powers and combine them in one entity. The Reality: all your favourite foods are put in a blender to create a foul smelling muddy soup.

Oh dear thousands of Johnny Cabs driven by humanoid robots and of course they would all come with Elons face to
Make you feel at ease during the ride.

Disappointment in Labor is not a reason to vote for the coalition, it is a time to get smarter and break out of the 2 party system. Voting for the Potato’s party is like doubling down on punishment of yourself.

Whilst I don’t always agree with Keating’s views there is always a ruthless bluntness to it that cuts through the silence, pandering and obfuscation, typical of more recent Australian governments.

oops, that should be Carbon
March 5, 2024 at 10:04 PM
Hmm, so what does this say about the accuracy of Crabon Budget and particular our LULUCF?

Anything organised for Melbourne Australia?

Ahh I am in China (holiday) and went to use twitter just now, it is only showing messages from 15 hours ago, I thought hmm maybe my VPN causing the issue?Nope, as I checked my gmail and here all updating correctly, so realised it is likely a twitter issue.

Labour seems to be successfully wedging itself, losing centrists and progressives to the greens and teals and pushing others to the right to an equally unloved Dutton.

I enjoyed both the books (many years ago) and also the series. Personally I see them as thematically similar but not same, I think once you stop looking for exact scenes from the books it is an easier watch.

And always have a second backup of your NAS in case something goes wrong. I plug in cheapish usb hard drives and sync the music regularly to the external drives.
September 20, 2023 at 8:42 PM
Yes I use Roon and a NAS, excellent solution but not cheap
Now. In early days a lifetime roon membership was very cheap. The beauty of Roon is you can also integrate Tidal or Qobuz into the platform so your library is all local media plus the streaming music service in one interface.

Great Tom Waits article, especially the observations from other musos who worked with him at the time. Rain dogs is definitely one thing f my favourite albums with the interesting percussion and experimentation.

Wow you sound like Hunter S Thompson unloading on Nixon and Hubert Humphrey. This type of burn doesn’t go away.
