Just checked the guide I must have been thinking of a different game. You’ll definitely want the guide though the true ending us quite complicated and in proper Fromsoft fashion there are some missable parts

They aren’t that complicated from what I remember unlike other Fromsoft games aside from Shura the endings are basically choosable from a menu at the end if you’ve unlocked them I could be wrong but I just vaguely remember one requires the upgrading the items from another, invalidating that one.

I recommend a guide for those I forget which one but I think aside from Shura there’s another ending you can’t get after you unlock another

I think we talked about it before but part 2 had that section showing Ashley wants Andrew to serve as every kind of relationship because she pushed away everyone else. Not understanding why that role matters could be why she’s fine treating lover as just another hole she needs filled (pun intended)

I have yet to see anything beyond the first part of the new chapter but didn’t they establish that Ashley gets a lot of her personality from what she saw on tv as a kid? Seems pretty plausible given what we’ve already talked about with her seeing sex as transactional and as a way to control Andrew.
