Interesting times, man

Abolishing ICE is a good step and something we should be advocating for, but it's not enough. The end goal is the abolition of police and prisons entirely.

I'm not talking about this to play trauma Olympics with anyone. The point is that when I say ACAB I mean it literally.

As long as I'm going down this rabbit hole, the arresting officers also
1) gave me a concussion so severe I blacked out for 20 min and had to be hospitalized, then
2) mocked me to my face while I waited for CT scan results to see if my brain was hemorrhaging

I'm studying accounting and I experience this exact phenomenon at least once a week

People are scared, and rightfully so. And yet they keep showing up for each other. Honor their courage and sacrifice by doing the same.

This is not to dismiss pain and suffering that many are experiencing right now. That shit is real and no joke.

The most powerful people on the planet are spending billions to create the most sophisticated propaganda apparatus the world has ever seen.

And yet. Every day I see examples of love, compassion, and solidarity from the people around me.
