We have been on leases over the last 8 years and what used to feel like the best option, now simply looks like a scam given how expensive everything got.

- Prices for new car are so remote from reality. In a few years, prices have increased by so much it is unreal. That is for both purchasing or leasing.
- We will not be able to purchase an EV. 😢
- Car companies and banks go out of their way to try to sell us a lease instead of just simply buying.

This was probably the best reset ever.

And as always at such times, I had the craziest idea ever: challenging myself in 2026 with the longest race I have ever done in my life:
A 50k #trailrunning race with 3500+ meters of elevation climb.

This has me so excited ! 🤩 (And scared)

I was home with not much to do, getting bored at times and itching to do a little bit of work at times. But I stuck to recovery, did not work at all and actually enjoyed being bored 🥱

This was carefully planned during the lowest period of the year when I typically do way less training.
Surgery was last week, followed by 2 days of recovery at home, not working.

Franchement, je ne suis plus allé sur X depuis des mois. Mais tout ce que j’entends, tout ce que je peux voir, me fait me dire que j’ai bien fait de partir 😅
