The very brief #RevolutionaryWar battle saw the involvement of the "Ethiopian Regiment," formed by VA Royal Governor Lord Dunmore, which consisted of free and formerly enslaved Black soldiers.

Originally published in 1662, there have been numerous editions and several revisions. In 1733, Benjamin Franklin gave his 1717 copy to the Library Company of Philadelphia, another of my favorite archival institutions..
