#5 When leaving she was thinking – how does she get food? We are going to follow-up with her but it makes us wonder how many people are in the same situation.

#4 The policy for Colorado Pet Pantry is to give them directions to a local distribution site. But because of her circumstances, my friend delivered dog food for the lady out of her own pocket.

#3 She will not leave her house and is so afraid that she will be sent back to Mexico ( US citizen for decades no family there) and is even afraid that she may be deported to El Salvidor. Her fears are real, she sees news that soon even US Citizens may be deported so she sits alone in true fear.

#2: The lady has no car and is terrified to leave her house in fear that she will be deported. Because she doesn’t drive, she doesn’t have a license, and hasn’t needed an ID. She doesn’t have a passport.

1 of 3: I want to share a very sad story about an 80+ year old immigrant (US Citizen) lady, who lives alone in Denver. She contacted my friend who volunteers for Colorado Pet Pantry to ask for help receiving some food for her pets. She said they hadn’t eaten in 3 days.

Veterans March in Denver today was raw and emotional. Listening to the brave veterans who fought for our freedom and hearing their stories. Their anger and fear for Americas future is so impactful. Let’s stand for our Veterans and all impacted by Trump and his regime.
